11:18 gas $3.50/ gal I guess they didn't get the memo on gas prices going down. Cool looking little town

1:00 The map program wants us to turn around and take I-5 through LA. At rush hour. Lol

2:15 rest stop. 64 degrees.

4:00 hwy I-10 the rest of the way. Nav system says 4 1/2 hours.
4:15 Beaumont the cell towers look like trees. Look close.
6:35 in az. Temp 64 degrees
8:30. 7:30 pacific time. Gas and beer stop. Gas $2.29/gal. Much better price than last place.
10:00 arrived at motel. About a hour and a half later than planned. Two accidents on the freeway. When we were putting our bags in the room a van pulled up with several people in it. They are here for the races too, however they came a lot further. France. The kid didn't speak English but had a SEVEN sweatshirt on. Finished all our snacks and watched tv.
